"Buy now and pay later..."

I find it ironic that credit was the mechanism that inflated our economy allowing us to "buy now and pay later" has now seized up. Tight credit is destorying iconic industries and is causing the American economy to collapse.

my thoughts on the politics of our time

I find the politics of our time to be very shallow and unfulfilling. It's like being really really hungry and all either political party knows how to do is offer you a spoonful of soup at the bottom of the bowl. That's what's going on here. Everyone from politicians, voters, pundits, and the media are starving to death while stating how great their soup tasted.

It's not the economy, it's worst -- cancer

Try bragging to your oncologist, who is treating you for cancer, if only you can get that job promotion or pay raise that all will be well and your health will be restored. That’s the same ridiculous logic coming out of Washington and on Wall Street. We just need more sources of money to “fix” our problems. There’s not enough money in the kitty to throw at America’s problems, borrow all you might. Cancer kills humans and societies. Ours has already metastasized and is rapidly spreading throughout the nation – mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially. We are all dead. We are experiencing a spiritual crisis and only God Almighty can heal our souls and this sick nation. Man’s best efforts are simply futile.

You're not a winner in life...

You’re not a winner in life because of your reputation, the power you wield or your net worth. Instead, it’s how you live your life relative to the virtue of character.
